
The Arab Fashion Council and Lebanon’s Ministry of Economy and Trade Unite to Launch the Fédération Libanaise de la Mode

Beirut, Lebanon – February 10, 2025 – In a historic development for Lebanon’s creative industries, the Arab Fashion Council and the Ministry of Economy and Trade of Lebanon have announced the official launch of the Fédération Libanaise de la Mode, marking the culmination of a partnership first formalized with the signing of an agreement on August 3rd, 2022. This visionary collaboration underscores a shared commitment to positioning Lebanon as a global fashion hub, drawing from its rich cultural heritage and world-renowned design talent.
The Fédération Libanaise de la Mode will act as Lebanon’s official body for advancing its fashion identity on a global scale. Its mission is to nurture innovation, create unparalleled opportunities for Lebanese designers to expand their global influence, and build a bridge between modern creative expression and the preservation of cultural legacy. By spotlighting Lebanese fashion on the world stage, this initiative aims to catalyze economic growth, generate employment, attract foreign investment, and underscore Lebanon’s role as a hub for cultural diplomacy and creative industries.
