In April 2020, Mohammed Aqra launched “A Thread 4 Cause” an emergency network of fashion designers, in partnership with the Dubai Health Authority to support the healthcare sector during the surge of the Covid19 pandemic, by supplying locally produced PPE created by fashion designers based in Dubai. 

Following the success of the initiative and in consideration of his efforts, Mohammed Aqra, has been awarded a certificate of honor and appreciation by the Dubai Health Authority during a meeting at the Dubai Health Authority head office in Dubai in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Al Nuaimi, CEO of Joint Corporate Support Services, DHA.
