Ms Dena Mekawi is the Director of Style & Resilience PR, a boutique agency that is dedicated to elevating the reputation, representation of brands and organizations. S&R uses the power of storytelling, using communications and PR as a force for good. Ms Mekawi curates creative communication strategies, & partnerships to engage brands, advertisers and influencers to create impact messages, using the power of their influence with a creative approach.

From Miss Arab USA 2013 to Oprah Magazine, Ms Mekawi uses her experience of self-discovery as an Arab American to work collectively, creating space for cultural diversity. Dena has been chosen as a representative to the United Nations DPI, for Women’s National Book Association, which compliments her work as a Social Entrepreneur.

Ms Mekawi advises several United Nations Agencies and has worked with the private sector to create strategic communication strategies and partnerships. Ms Mekawi was chosen to moderate International Day Of Peace 2016 alongside notable Goodwill ambassadors, DiCaprio, Stevie Wonder, and former Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon. Ms Mekawi was also personally recognized by award-winning actor Michael Douglas.

Ms Mekawi has been appointed on September 2018 as International Affairs Director of the Arab Fashion Council.
